Northern Region Cement sees 6% higher profits in 9M-22 initial financials

Riyadh – Mubasher: Northern Region Cement Company generated net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 75.72 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, up 6.27% from SAR 71.26 million in 9M-21.

The firm registered revenues worth SAR 432.94 million in the January-September 2022 period, down 0.54% year-on-year (YoY) from SAR 435.29 million, according to the interim income statements.

Meanwhile, the earnings per share (EPS) soared to SAR 0.42 in 9M-22 from SAR 0.39 in 9M-21.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, the net profits after Zakat and tax of Northern Region Cement amounted to SAR 27.63 million, higher by 50.53% than SAR 18.35 million in the year-ago period.

The revenues enlarged by 29.79% YoY to SAR 166.25 million in Q3-22 from SAR 128.10 million.

On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits after Zakat and tax increased by 11.68% from SAR 24.74 million in Q2-22, while the revenues jumped by 24.61% from SAR 133.42 million.

In the first half (H1) of 2022, Northern Region Cement witnessed an annual decrease of 9.09% in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 48.09 million, compared to SAR 52.90 million.
