Saudi Arabia’s Main Equities Index Close at Its Highest Since 2015

Saudi Arabia's main equities index closed on Monday at its highest since June 2015.

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) gained 23.29 points to close at 9,374.37 points, and the value of trading amounted to SAR15.8 billion (4.2 billion dollars).

Meanwhile, the toll of shares traded was more than 580 million, divided into over 620,000 deals, during which the stocks of 61 companies ended the trading higher, while the shares of 132 companies slumped.

On Monday, the banking sector contributed to increasing the record point gains, led by Al-Rajhi Bank, which rose two percent at SAR91.60 riyals, hitting its highest close in nearly 15 years.

The Eastern Province Cement Company's share topped the list by five percent, to close at SAR 47.
