Tadawul begins 2024 with varied performance

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main market’s All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday’s trading session higher by 69.65 points (0.58%), beginning the year 2024 at 12,037.04 points.

A total of 248.89 million shares were traded at a turnover of SAR 6.44 billion. The healthcare equipment and services segment advanced the gainers with 1.65%, while the consumer durables and apparel led three decliners with 0.86%.

CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company topped the risers with 10%, while Al Baha Investment and Development Company was the top faller with 7.14%.

Anaam International Holding Group recorded the biggest trading volume of 13.43 million shares, while Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) acquired the largest turnover of SAR 400.40 million.

The Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC), on the other hand, fell by 40.72 points (0.17%) to 24,488.26 points.

View United Real Estate Development Company was the top faller with 6.41%, while Al Rashid Industrial Company headed the risers with 7.27%.
