Tadawul closes Wednesday with varied performance

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main market’s All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the red zone after falling by 34.18 points (0.28%) to 12,438.77 points.

A total of 335.40 million shares were traded at a turnover of SAR 10.26 billion. The banking segment led the decliners with 0.88%, while the software and services sector was the top gainer with 4.27%.

Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company headed the fallers with 8.59%, while Nama Chemicals Company was the top riser with 10%.

Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) was the most active stock on which 22.81 million shares were exchanged, while SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company posted the highest turnover of SAR 841.92 million.

The Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC), meanwhile, rose by 316.90 points (1.25%) to 25,695.82 points.

National Building and Marketing Company headed the risers with 6.11%, while Naba Alsaha Medical Services Company was the top faller with 8.57%.
