Tadawul ends Tuesday’s trading session on varied note

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) went up by 243.57 points (2.11%) on Tuesday to close the session at 11,809.95 points.

A total of 148.24 million shares were exchanged at a value of SAR 5.87 billion.

Except for the pharma segment which declined by 0.74%, all the sectors rose, led by the banks with 3.31%.

Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company topped the gainers with 9.94%.

SABB Takaful, which CEO Hussam Al Khayal recently resigned from his post, headed the fallers with 2.87%.

Alinma Bank was the most active stock on which 8.19 million shares were traded, while Al Rajhi Bank generated the highest turnover of SAR 444.66 million.

On the other hand, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) ended the session in the red zone at 19,725.20 points after losing 68.86 points (0.35%).

Gas Arabian Services Company advanced the risers with 5.26%.

Abdulaziz & Mansour Ibrahim Albabtain Company (Al Babtain Food), which started trading its shares today, led the decliners with 17.01%.
