Tadawul shows varied performance on Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main market’s All-Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) edged down by 0.01% on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 12,599.79 points.

TASI’s turnover amounted to SAR 7.88 billion through the exchange of 471.41 million shares.

Middle East Pharmaceutical Industries Company (Avalon Pharma) was the top gainer with 29.83%, while Saudi Arabian Amiantit Company headed the decliners with 3.02%.

Saudi Steel Pipe Company posted the highest trading value of SAR 285.58 million, whereas Tourism Enterprise Company (Shams) was the most active stock with 67.02 million exchanged shares.

Meanwhile, the Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) closed the session higher by 0.12% at 26,285.48 points.

Edarat Communication and Information Technology Company led the risers with 9.28%, while Arabian Plastic Industrial Company dominated the fallers with 6.87%.
