Tadawul’s Main Market, Nomu close Sunday lower

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) closed Sunday in the green zone after falling by 13.37 points (0.11%) at 12,463.17 points.

The turnover amounted to SAR 9.56 billion through the trading of 228.17 million shares.

Except for the banks and REITs sectors which gained 2.57% and 0.71%, respectively, all segments declined, led by the consumer durables which retreated by 3.86%.

Saudi Advanced Industries Company (SAIC) led the fallers with 6.35%.

Al Rajhi Bank was the top riser with 5.93% while generating the highest trading value of SAR 1.54 billion. This came in line with its board’s recommendation of a 60% capital increase.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate posted the highest trading volume of 32.37 million shares.

Similarly, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) went down by 117.23 points (0.46%) to close at 25,111.12 points.

Alwasail Industrial was the top faller with 8.29%, while Jahez as well as Watani Iron Steel were the only risers with 1.49% and 0.83%, respectively.
