TASI closes Thursday higher; NomuC shows negative performance

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main market’s All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) rose on Thursday by 45.82 points (0.37%) to 12,484.59 points.

A total of 456.14 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of SAR 10.34 billion.

The consumer services segment was the top gainer with 2.71%. Meanwhile, the pharma and transportation sectors were the only decliners with 1.45% and 0.09% in respective order.

Saudi Industrial Development Company (SIDC) headed the risers with 9.98%, while Chubb Arabia Cooperative Insurance Company led the fallers with 5.20%.

Americana Restaurants International was the most active stock on which 80.52 million shares were exchanged, whereas Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) posted the largest trading value of SAR 714.05 million.

On the other hand, the Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) declined by 491.29 points (1.91%) to 25,204.53 points.

Ladun Investment Company led the fallers with 10.79%, while Almuneef Company for Trade, Industry, Agriculture and Contracting was the top riser with 16.86%.
