TASI closes Wednesday’s session down; NomuC up

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note.

The main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed the session in the red zone at 12,283.33 points after losing 172.32 points (1.38%).

The trading value amounted to SAR 8.31 billion through the exchange of 192.38 million shares.

The majority of the sectors fell, led by the materials which dropped by 2.43%, while the software and services segment was the top gainer with 1.08%.

The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) advanced the risers with 3.68%, whereas Bawan Company headed the fallers with 4.76%.

Saudi Telecom Company (stc) was the most active stock on which 11.93 million shares were traded, while SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company posted the highest turnover of SAR 628.46 million.

On the other hand, the Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) ended the session higher by 42.44 points (0.20%) at 21,637.60 points.

Rawasi Albina Investment Company topped the gainers with 13.04%, while National Fertilizer Company led the losers with 4.94%.
