ADX closes Monday down; DFM up

The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session on a varied note. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.06% to close Monday's session at 3,388.93 points. A total of 100.33 million shares were traded through 5,202 transactions valued at AED 252.84 million. Al Firdous Holdings led the rising stocks with 15%, while the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) topped the losing stocks with 4.20%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.74% to settle at 9,727.46 points by the end of Monday's session. Turnover amounted to AED 1.74 billion after 348.16 million shares had been exchanged through 14,082 transactions. Abu Dhabi National Co. for Building Materials (Bildco) came on top of the green zone with 10.56%, while ADC Acquisition Corporation (ADC) headed the red zone with 9.93%.
