DFM, ADX fall on Monday

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday in the red zone after falling by 15.69 points (0.47%) at 3,311.38 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 261.89 million after 84.06 million shares were traded.

Shuaa Capital led the fallers with 4.29%, while Dar Al Takaful topped the risers with 11.38%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 20.08 million shares worth AED 101.57 million.

The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also declined by 1.207% to close at 9,044.81 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.61 billion through the trading of 222.63 million shares. The market cap value amounted to AED 1.73 trillion.

Reem Investments led the fallers with 8.22%, while Response Plus Holding was the top riser with 14.9%.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 300.66 million, while Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 64.97 million shares.
