DFM closes Monday down; ADX up

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched down 0.04% to close Monday's trading session at 2,514.60 points.

A total of 151.10 million shares were traded through 1,684 transactions valued at AED 109.34 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 210 million to AED 342.45 billion, compared to AED 342.24 billion during the previous session.

Arab Insurance Group (ARIG) led the rising stocks with 1.97%, while Dar Al Takaful topped the losing stocks with 4.15%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up by around 0.2% to settle at 5,106.31 points by the end of Monday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 353.32 million after 87.33 million shares had been exchanged through 1,460 transactions.

The market cap value increased by AED 2.94 billion to AED 733.59 billion, compared to AED 730.65 billion during the previous session.

Zee Stores came on top of the green zone with 10.47%, while Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) led the red zone with 4.02%.
