DFM closes Tuesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Tuesday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 0.41% to close Tuesday's session at 2,524.96 points.

A total of 125.81 million shares were traded through 2,231 transactions valued at AED 162.22 million.

The market cap value increased by AED 1.2 billion to AED 343.65 billion, compared to AED 342.45 billion during the previous session.

Al Salam Group Holding headed the green zone with 3.44%, while BH Mubasher topped the red zone with 4.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down by around 0.14% to settle at 5,099.04 points by the end of Tuesday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 341.11 million after 84.92 million shares had been exchanged through 1,551 transactions.

The market cap value decreased by AED 2.31 billion to AED 731.28 billion, compared to AED 733.59 billion during the previous session.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) came on top of the losing stocks with 4.74%, while EasyLease led the rising stocks with 12.64%.
