DFM ends Sunday down; ADX up

The UAE stock markets have closed Sunday's trading session on a varied note. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched down 0.30% to settle at 3,098.40 points by the end of Sunday's trading session. A total of 634.523 million shares were exchanged through 9,091 transactions valued at AED 889.806 million. Union Properties led the losing stocks with 4.72%, while the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) topped the rising stocks with 14.47%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.98% to close Sunday at 8,093.707 points. Turnover amounted to AED 1.457 billion after 330.883 million shares had been traded through 7,085 transactions. Fujairah Cement Industries headed the green zone with 15%, while Easy Lease came on top of the red zone with 10%.
