Dubai-based Delta World Charter reports earnings of $26m in Q1 2022

Private charter company Delta World Charter (DWC) has reported that it generated over $26m in revenue in Q1 2022. This growth, the company said, was achieved despite challenging market conditions, including a pandemic-induced economic recovery, fluctuating oil prices and geopolitical instability due to the Russia-Ukraine crisis. During the pandemic, DWC transported stranded travellers, millions of pieces of PPE, masks and aid to communities around the world during the pandemic. It was also one of the first air charter companies to deploy aircraft for evacuation of people in Kabul last year. In the first quarter of this year, the charter company delivered one million kilograms worth of medical supplies from Asia to North America. It also witnessed a significant increase in inquiries and bookings for leisure travel for summer and fall, and numerous requests for air freight charter received by its cargo division. Driven by growing demand for private and cargo charter services in the region, DWC is expanding its team and has moved its corporate headquarters to a new office in the Dubai Airport Freezone.
