UAE stock markets close Monday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.97% to close Monday's trading session at 3,622.01 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 441.70 million after 161.46 million shares had been exchanged through 7,294 transactions.

Emirates Refreshments led the rising stocks with 14.89%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance Co topped the losing stocks with 4.61%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down 0.65% to settle at 9957.46 points by the end of Monday's session.

A total of 315.77 million shares were traded through 12,832 transactions valued at AED 1.74 billion.

Ras Al Khaimah Poultry & Feeding Co. headed the green zone with 14.81%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co (TKFL) came on top of the red zone with 10%.
