UAE stock markets close Sunday on green note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading sessions on a green note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.57% or 14.42 points to close Sunday's session at 2,491.97 points.

A total of 90.69 million shares were traded through 1,227 transactions valued at AED 76.01 million.

The market cap value rose by AED 1.73 billion to AED 341.71 billion, compared to AED 339.98 billion during the previous session.

Dar Al Takaful led the green zone with 3.43%, while DXB Entertainments came on top of the red zone with 4.49%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index of levelled up by around 0.67% to settle at 5,079.10 points by the end of Sunday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 303.94  million after 52.42 million shares had been exchanged through 1,188 transactions.

Zee stores topped the rising stocks with 14.86%, while Waha Capital headed the losing stocks with 5%.
