UAE stock markets close Thursday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.89% to close Thursday's session at 3,720.63 points.

A total of 133.55 million shares were traded through 6,363 transactions valued at AED 463.27 million.

National General Insurance Company led the rising stocks with 5%, while Emirates Refreshments Company topped the losing stocks with 7.32%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.73% to settle at 10,080.28 points by the end of Thursday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.50 billion after 203.04 million shares had been traded through 10,216 transactions.

National Marine Dredging Co. (NMDC) came on top of the green zone with 14.94%, while Foodco Holding Company headed the red zone with 10%.
