UAE stock markets close Thursday in red zone

The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the red zone. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.08% to settle at 2,779.75 points by the end of Thursday's session. A total of 121.53 million shares were traded through 2,284 transactions valued at AED 138.182 million. Al Mazaya Holding led the losing stocks with 7.41%, while Ajman Bank topped the rising stocks with 6.9%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by about 0.09% to close Thursday at 6,963.22 points. Turnover has exceeded AED 1.21 billion after 160.87 million shares had been exchanged through 4,957 transactions. National Marine Dredging Co came on top of the green zone with 14.87%, while Union Insurance headed the red zone with 10%.
