UAE stock markets close Thursday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 1.66% to close Thursday's session at 3,280.42 points.

A total of 144.53 million shares were traded through 6,225 transactions valued at AED 389 million.

Emirates Refreshments Company led the rising stocks with 15%, while Dubai Refreshment Company topped the losing stocks with 7.41%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went down 0.99% to settle at 9,444.73 points by the end of Thursday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.50 billion after 227.07 million shares had been exchanged through 10,853 transactions.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co (TKFL) came on top of the green zone with 14.86%, while Fujairah Building Industries headed the red zone with 8.25%.
