UAE stock markets close Wednesday's session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.15% to settle at 3,335.79 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 105.77 million shares were exchanged through 5,300 transactions valued at AED 387.37 million.

Emirates Refreshments Company led the rising stocks with 14.94%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance Co. topped the losing stocks with 9.40%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up 0.39% to close Wednesday's session at 9,539.17 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.41 billion after 206.97 million shares were traded through 10,085 transactions.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) came on top of the green zone with 4%, while ADC Acquisition Corporation (ADC) headed the red zone with 3.36%.
