UAE stock markets close Wednesday's session on varied note

The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session on a mixed note. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.67% to end Wednesday's session at 3,395.75 points. A total of 135.37 million shares were traded through 5,023 transactions valued at AED 331.51 million. Emirates Refreshments Company led the rising stocks with 15%, while Dar Al Takaful topped the losing stocks with 2.94%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.32% to close Wednesday's session at 9,665.39 points. Turnover amounted to AED 1.67 billion after 244.51 million shares had been traded through 13,274 transactions. ADC Acquisition Corporation came on top of the green zone with 3.4%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Co (TKFL) headed the red zone with 9.86%.
