UAE stock markets end Sunday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have witnessed a downward performance by the end of Sunday's trading session.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 0.46% to close Sunday's trading session at 2,515.67 points.

A total of 118.99 million shares were traded through 1,899 transactions valued at AED 103.05 million.

BH Mubasher led the rising stocks with 7.6%, while DXB Entertainments came on top of the losing stocks with 4.81%.

The market cap value declined by AED 1.23 billion to AED 342.24 billion, compared to AED 343.47 billion during the previous session.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index decreased by around 0.59% to settle at 5,095.94 points by the end of Sunday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 301.53 million after 64.09 million shares had been exchanged through 1,065 transactions.

The market cap value retreated by AED 6.15 billion to AED 730.65 billion, compared to AED 736.8 billion during the previous session.

Union Insurance headed the green zone with 9.09%, while Zee Stores topped the red zone with 19.05%.
