DFM, ADX close Monday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 41.10 points (1.22%) to close at 3,401.93 points on Monday.

The trading value reached AED 290.89 million through the exchange of 100.88 million shares.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance headed the losers with 7.32%, whereas Mashreq Bank was the top gainer with 12.82%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 15.03 million shares exchanged at AED 91.90 million.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the trading session higher by 1.481% to 9,942.30 points.

A total of 230.39 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.44 billion, while the market cap stood at AED 2.11 trillion.

Sharjah Insurance Company advanced the risers with 8.70%, while National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) led the fallers with 3.21%.

Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 77.68 million shares were traded, while International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 342.10 million.
