DFM, ADX close Monday with negative performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session lower by 31.18 points (0.92%) at 3,354.33 points.

A total of 114.79 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 304.07 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 92.29 million and was the most active stock with 17.25 million shares.

Aramex topped the gainers with 3.74%, whereas Dar Al Takaful led the losers with 9.93%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went down by 0.712% to 9,757.84 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.92 billion through the exchange of 428.72 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.71 trillion.

In addition to generating the highest turnover of AED 781.92 million, ADNOC Gas dominated the trading volume with 276.28 million shares.

ADC Acquisition Corporation advanced the risers with 9.09%, while Emirates Insurance headed the decliners with 9.89%.
