DFM, ADX close Monday’s trading session in green

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 17.47 points (0.51%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 3,400.37 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 254.78 million through the exchange of 160.49 million shares.

Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) advanced the gainers with 10%, whereas Takaful Emarat – Insurance headed the decliners with 9.92%.

Salik Company posted the highest turnover of AED 41.26 million, while Union Properties dominated the trading volume with 46.53 million shares.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.688% at 9,918.32 points.

A total of 179.30 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.43 billion, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.55 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAPCO) topped the risers with 6.90%, while Union Insurance Company led the fallers with 9.81%.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 499.08 million, whereas Americana Restaurants International was the most active stock on which 25.53 million shares were traded.
