DFM, ADX close Thursday with negative performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session lower by 24.44 points (0.73%) at 3,314.44 points.

A total of 161.31 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 277.65 million.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 86.42 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock on which 49.41 million shares were traded.

Ekttitab Holding topped the risers with 2.47%, whereas Deyaar Development led the fallers with 3.04%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled down by 0.618% and closed the session in the red zone at 10,237.20 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 31.01 billion through the exchange of 1.81 billion shares, while the market cap stood at AED 2.65 trillion.

Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company (ADNTC) headed the losers with 10%, whereas Foodco National Foodstuff was the top gainer with 5.71%.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 225.39 million, while Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) dominated the trading volume with 22.03 million shares.
