DFM, ADX close Thursday’s session with collective rise

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session with a positive performance at 3,515.91 points after gaining 26.13 points (0.74%).

A total of 169.74 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 421.47 million.

Emirates NBD generated the highest turnover of AED 99.86 million, whereas Dubai Financial Market Company (DFM) was the most active stock with 22.23 million shares.

Orascom Construction advanced the risers with 10%, while Emaar Development headed the fallers with 8.66%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.773% to 9,750.75 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.19 billion through the exchange of 286.16 million shares, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.79 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 234.52 million, while Emirates Steel Arkan dominated the trading volume with 69.29 million shares.

The United Arab Bank (UAB) was the top gainer with 10.58%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) led the decliners with 6.96%.
