DFM, ADX close Tuesday with collective gains

The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 8.14 points (0.20%) on Tuesday and ended the trading session at 3,985.41 points. A total of 900.34 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 892.98 million. Union Properties, which led the gainers with 15%, was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 469.19 million shares exchanged at AED 192.12 million. Meanwhile, Orascom Construction headed the losers with 10%. The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went up by 0.047% to 5,589.29 points. ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.08 billion through the exchange of 257.68 million shares, while the market cap value reached AED 2.77 trillion. International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 213.20 million, whereas Eshraq Investments was the most active stock with 39.92 million shares. Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) advanced the risers with 10.49%, while National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) topped the decliners with 6.16%.
