DFM, ADX close Tuesday’s trading session in green

The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 52.41 points (1.35%) on Tuesday and ended the trading session at 3,930.93 points. A total of 852.91 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.08 billion. Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) witnessed the highest turnover with AED 118.45 million, whereas Union Properties dominated the trading volume with 283.34 million shares. Al Firdous Holding led the gainers with 14.90%, while Orascom Construction headed the losers with 9.93%. The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also rose by 0.219% to 9,582.87 points. ADX’s turnover hit AED 1.12 billion through the exchange of 255.93 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.78 trillion. International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 203.22 million, whereas Multiply Group was the most active stock with 36.84 million shares. Fujairah Cement Industries Company (FCI) advanced the risers with 9.16%, while Commercial International Bank (CIB) was the top faller with 9.93%.
