DFM, ADX close Wednesday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone at 3,717.07 points after rising by 4.39 points (0.11%).

A total of 476.90 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 671.29 million.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance Company was the top riser with 14.93%, while Ithmaar Holding led the fallers with 9.95%.

GFH Financial Group was the most active stock with the highest trading volume and value of 142.96 million shares and AED 154.77 million, respectively.

The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also rose by 0.442% to 9,392.56 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 942.13 million through the exchange of 232.98 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.70 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 206.26 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock with 25.17 million shares.

Aram Group headed the gainers with 15%, while Hily Holding was the top faller with 10%.
