DFM, ADX close Wednesday’s trading session mixed

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 16.60 points (0.47%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 3,489.78 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 382.226 million through the exchange of 155.17 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 57.27 million, while Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) dominated the trading volume with 17.17 million shares.

Al Salam Bank led the risers with 6.19%, whereas Al Firdous Holdings headed the decliners with 8.86%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.306% at 9,675.96 points.

A total of 224.28 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.23 billion. The market cap value stood at AED 2.78 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 238.73 million, while ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 42.50 million shares.

The United Arab Bank (UAB) topped the gainers with 14.29%, whereas Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) advanced the losers with 7.89%.
