DFM closes higher on Tuesday; ADX declines

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday's trading session in the green zone at 3,575.56 points after rising by 37.51 points (0.1.06%).

A total of 445.89 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 565.10 million.

Ajman Bank generated the highest turnover of AED 137.59 million.

Meanwhile, Deyaar Development was the most active stock with 147.86 million exchanged shares in addition to being the top riser with 14.20%.

Al Mazaya Holding led the fallers with 10%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.364% to 9,669.13 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.12 billion through the exchange of 276.55 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.77 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 254.03 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock with 52.24 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) was the top faller with 7.73%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) headed the risers with 7.32%.
