DFM closes Monday higher; ADX falls

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s session higher by 0.38 points (0.01%) at 3,376.95 points.

A total of 104.74 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 245.64 million.

National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) was the top riser with 4.57%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance led the fallers with 7.40%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest trading value of AED 109.13 million, while Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) was the most active stock on which 21.62 million shares were exchanged.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.378% to 9,705.18 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.20 billion through the trading of 205.46 million shares. In addition, the market cap value stood at AED 2.22 trillion.

Hayah Insurance Company led the fallers with 8.52%, while Abu Dhabi Aviation Company advanced the risers with 14.86%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest trading value of AED 304.55 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 57.69 million shares were exchanged.
