DFM closes Monday up; ADX down



UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 2.59 points (0.06%) and ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone at 3,994,59 points.

The turnover stood at AED 270.79 million through the exchange of 116.37 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 66.05 million, while Deyaar Development was the most active stock with 27.59 million shares.

International Financial Advisors Holding (IFA) advanced the risers with 14.81%, whereas Orascom Construction headed the fallers with 7.65%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched down by 0.417% to 9,515.37 points.

A total of 199.28 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.01 billion, while the market cap value hit AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 208.36 million, whereas Borouge dominated trading volume with 36.89 million shares.

Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) was the top gainer with 14.12%, while Response Plus Holding led the fallers with 3.57%.
