DFM closes Thursday higher; ADX falls

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session higher by 17.19 points (0.46%) at 3,734.26 points.

A total of 419.03 million shares were traded at a value of AED 587.79 million.

Ekttitab Holding led the risers with 14.78%, while National International Holding was the top faller with 4.93%.

Emaar properties generated the highest turnover of AED 124.13 million, while Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume with 29.33 million shares.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.083% to 9,384.73 points.

The trading value reached AED 873.89 million through the exchange of 179.85 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.69 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 209.47 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock with 22.51 million shares.

Hayah Insurance Company headed the gainers with 12.92%, while The National Investor was the top faller with 10%.
