DFM closes Wednesday up; ADX down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session at 3,329.41 points after gaining 0.73 points (0.02%).

The turnover stood at AED 220.29 million through the exchange of 107.01 million shares.

Dar Al Takaful was the top gainer with 4.56%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) headed the decliners with 3.92%.

Ajman Bank was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 31.33 million shares exchanged at AED 37.99 million.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.263% to 10,237.18 points.

A total of 248.84 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.25 billion. The market cap amounted to AED 2.65 trillion.

Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company advanced the risers with 14.84%, whereas National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) led the fallers with 4.97%

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 231 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 48.22 million shares.
