DFM gains AED 950m on Sunday

Dubai - Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.42% or 8.76 points to settle at 2,061.43 points by the end of Sunday's trading session, maintaining its positive performance on Thursday, 16 July.





A total of 160.38 million shares were traded through 2,561 transactions at a total value of AED 127.73 million.





The market cap value reached AED 292.95 billion, up AED 950 million from AED 292 billion during the previous session.





The banks segment led the risers with 1.25%, while the consumer staples sector came on top of the decliners with 3.75%.





Arabtec Holding headed the green zone with 12.69%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) topped the red zone with 5%.





At the same time, Arabtec Holding was the most active stock with 33.17 million shares traded at AED 27.52 million.





Damac Properties led the rising blue chips with 2.07%, while DXB Entertainments hit the top of the losing blue chips with 4.07%.
