S&P "likely to raise" Zambia’s credit rating after debt restructuring

Zambia's credit rating is likely to be raised once the country has finished a debt restructuring process, credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings said on Monday, after the country reached a deal in principle with its international bondholders last week.

"Post-default ratings tend to be in the 'CCC' or low 'B' categories," S&P said in a statement. (Reporting by Rachel Savage, Editing by Marc Jones)
