UAE stock markets close lower on Monday



UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) declined by 6.90 points (0.16%) on Monday, closing at 4,167.66 points.

A total of 203.73 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 383.90 million.

National International Holding advanced the risers with 10%, while the Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) led the fallers with 3.13%.

Emaar Properties generated the biggest turnover of AED 103.96 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 60.29 million shares were traded.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed in the red zone after falling by 0.55% to 9,075.70 points.

A total of 429.62 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 996.18 million.

Meanwhile, the market cap value stood at AED 2.79 trillion at the end of the session.

Invictus Investment Company led the fallers with 6.25%, whereas Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company headed the risers with 13.97%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the biggest turnover of AED 197.27 million, while Eshraq Investments was the most active stock on which 175.39 million shares were exchanged.
