UAE stock markets close Monday higher

The UAE stock markets ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 39.16 points (1.17%) to close the session at 3,377.12 points. A total of 176.94 million shares were traded at a value of AED 260.78 million. Amlak Finance advanced the rises with 14.84%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan led the fallers with 3.65%. Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 64.95 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 43.62 million shares were exchanged. The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went up by 1.296% to close at 9,774.01 points. The trading value amounted to AED 1.25 billion through the exchange of 182.51 million shares. The market cap reached AED 2.04 trillion. EasyLease Motorcycle Rental topped the gainers with 6.38%, while Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the losers with 5.83%. International Holding Group (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 318.88 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 34.19 million shares were traded.
