UAE stock markets close Monday higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday’s trading session in the green zone at 3,498.28 points after rising by 27.28 points (0.78%), following Eid Al Fitr holiday which lasted from 20 to 23 April.

A total of 118.67 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 232.69 million.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 70.54 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 27.90 million exchanged shares.

Dar Al Takaful headed the risers with 12.65%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance Company led the fallers with 7.83%.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.212% to 9,654.22 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.16 billion through the exchange of 253.02 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 243.36 million, while ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 34.05 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) was the top riser with 14.62%, while Sudatel Telecom Group led the fallers with 9.87%.
