UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone



UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 0.47 points (0.01%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 4,081.24 points.

The turnover stood at AED 355.36 million through the exchange of 96.95 million shares.

Emirates NBD posted the highest turnover of AED 70.96 million, while Dubai Taxi was the most active stock with 18.46 million shares.

National International Holding topped the risers with 14.48%, whereas Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) led the fallers with 4.67%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session lower by 0.329% at 9,680.45 points.

A total of 207.84 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.01 billion, whereas the market cap value reached AED 2.95 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 206.58 million, while RAK Properties dominated the trading volume with 23.45 million shares.

Fujairah Cement Industries Company advanced the gainers with 6.58%, whereas Hayah Insurance Company headed the losers with 7.89%.
