UAE stock markets close Monday with collective gains

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Monday's trading session higher by 1.29 points (0.03%) at 3,411.80 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 153.20 million through the exchange of 111.26 million shares.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) posted the highest turnover of AED 26.32 million, whereas Deyaar Development was the most active stock with 20.61 million shares.

Ekttitab Holding topped the risers with 8.24%, while Al Firdous Holdings led the fallers with 8.59%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.396% to 9,499.20 points.

A total of 142.34 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1 billion. The market cap value hit AED 2.69 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 295.07 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 21.42 million shares.

Ghitha Holding advanced the gainers with 14.97%, while Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) headed the decliners with 9.60%.
