UAE stock markets close Monday's session on positive note

The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the green zone. The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.33% to close Monday's session at 3,170.90 points. A total of 82.45 million shares had been traded through 5,255 transactions valued at AED 208.64 million. GFH Financial Group (GFH) led the rising stocks with 3%, while National General Insurance Company (NGI) topped the losing stocks with 10%. As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.13% to settle at 9,199.29 points by the end of Monday's session. Turnover amounted to AED 1.11 billion after 127.68 million shares had been exchanged through 7,570 transactions. Ghitha Holding headed the green zone with 6.82%, while Sudatel Telecom Group (SDTL) came on top of the red zone with 8.31%.
