UAE stock markets close Thursday on collective decline

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday’s trading session lower by 2.26 points (0.06%) at 3,351.14 points.

A total of 100.51 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 304.60 million.

Amlak Finance topped the risers with 2.53%, whereas Shuaa Capital led the fallers with 3.80%.

Meanwhile, Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 86.79 million.

Salik Company, which started trading on 29 September 2022, was the most active stock on which 17.25 million shares were exchanged.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session down by 0.105% to 9,855.35 points. The market cap amounted to AED 2.24 trillion.

ADX’s turnover stood at AED 1.52 billion after 294.84 million shares were traded during the session.

Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) advanced the gainers with 14.71%, whereas Hayah Insurance Company headed the decliners with 9.57%.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 277.08 million.

Multiply Group, which recently acquired an 80% stake in IHC’s unit International Energy Holding (IEH), was the most active stock on which 67.55 million shares were exchanged.
