UAE stock markets close Thursday's session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.38% to close Thursday's session at 3,256.07 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 219.07 million after 77.83 million shares had been exchanged through 4,480 transactions.

Emirates Refreshments Company (ERC) led the rising stocks with 8.77%, while BHM Capital Financial Services topped the losing stocks with 7.77%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index increased by 2.28% to settle at 9,589.01 points by the end of Thursday's session.

A total of 167.33 million shares had been traded through 9,509 transactions valued at AED 1.32 billion.

Sudatel Telecom Group (SDTL) came on top of the green zone with 8.12%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) headed the red zone with 9.52%.
