UAE stock markets close Tuesday in red

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session lower by 16.07 points (0.45%) at 3,533.23 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 336.42 million through the exchange of 163.82 million shares.

Union Coop advanced the risers with 5.66%, while Al Firdous Holding led the falling companies with 6.42%.

Ajman Bank was the most active stock in terms of both trading volume and value with 32.89 million shares exchanged at AED 61.10 million.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.394% to 9,489.89 points.

A total of 192.97 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.07 billion, whereas the market cap value reached AED 2.70 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 303.38 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 27 million shares.

EasyLease Motorcycle Rental topped the gainers with 12.84%, whereas Gulf Cement Company headed the losers with 5.71%.
