UAE stock markets close Tuesday lower

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s trading session down at 3,392.69 points after losing 15.42 points (0.45%).

The trading value stood at AED 242.07 million through the exchange of 123.03 million shares.

Emirates Refreshments topped the gainers with 10.21%, while Orascom Construction headed the decliners with 9.97%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 85.22 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock on which 36.20 million shares were exchanged.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.234% to close the session at 10,039.68 points.

A total of 154.94 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.09 billion. The market cap reached AED 2.09 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) advanced the risers with 14.49%, whereas National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) led the fallers with 6.08%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 300.85 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 41.53 million shares were exchanged.
