UAE stock markets close Tuesday mixed

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session lower by 2.62 points (0.06%) at 4,272.76 points. DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 338.61 million through the exchange of 133.09 million shares. Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 69.38 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 20.85 million exchanged shares. BHM Capital led the gainers with 9.71%, whereas Al Firdous Holding topped the fallers with 7.51%. On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.126% to 9,255.06 points. A total of 215.62 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 975.22 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.88 trillion. International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 208.47 million, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 36.78 million shares. Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company advanced the risers with 15%, whereas Hayah Insurance Company headed the decliners with 10%.
